              with sale day tradition, it was a warm beautiful day for the Mike 
              and Debra Sitz and Family’s 44th Annual Bull Sale held at 
              the Burwell Livestock Market on Monday, February 6, 2017.

              Coming Two Year Old bulls sold for an average of $5132. 
               
                | The 
                    high selling bull was Lot 2, MSAR Walk On 4 Traveler 5021, 
                    selling for $14,500. His new home will be in Nisland, North 
                    Dakota at Foos Angus Ranch. Lot 2 is a thick and extremely 
                    well balanced bull. His sire is Dars Walk On 4 Traveler 584, 
                    a son of GDAR Traveler 584 L T and the Sitz Barbara Perfection 
                    4368 cow. Lot 2 had EPD’s of + 5 for CED, + 1.0 for 
                    Birth, + 41 for Wean, + 76 for Yearling and + 24 for Milk. 
                    The dam, Msar Evidences Eppionia 0014, is a good producing 
                    daughter of MSAR Right Time 7757, having five calves at 103 
                    for birth, five calves at 102 for Wean, and four at 103 for 
                    Yearling, with an actual birth weight of 85 pounds with a 
                    Wean Ratio of 107 and a Yearling Ratio of 110.

                    second high selling bull, Lot 36, JJA Game Day 5065, from 
                    the Joel and Bethany (Sitz) Johnston herd, Thedford, NE, sold 
                    to repeat customer, Hauserman Ranch, North Platte, for $11,000. 
                    Lot 36 is an attractive, long, high capacity GDAR Game Day 
                    449 son being from the Marshall Queen cow family. Maternal 
                    Grandsire is MSAR New Deal 6676. Lot 36 had EPD’s of 
                    + 3 for CED, + 1.9 for Birth, + 47 for Wean, + 84 for Yearling 
                    and + 28 for Milk. The dam, Msar Marshall Queen 0060, a Pathfinder 
                    cow, has five calves at 107 for birth, five calves at 110 
                    for Wean and two at 107 for Yearling, with an actual birth 
                    weight of 94 pounds with a Wean Ratio of 116 and a Yearling 
                    Ratio of 115. Hauserman 
                    Ranch took home another high selling bull for $10,500. Lot 
                    12, another well-balanced, long bodied Walk On 4 Traveler 
                    584 son, was from the Marshall Queen cow family. Lot 12 had 
                    EPD’s of + 7 for CED, + 0.6 for Birth, + 45 for Wean, 
                    + 78 for Yearling and + 26 for Milk. The dam, Msar Marshall 
                    Queen 1027, is a Pathfinder cow out of a Pathfinder sire CAR 
                    Chinnook 786 and a Pathfinder dam. She has four calves at 
                    105 for birth, four calves at 104 for Wean and three at 106 
                    for Yearling, with an actual birth weight of 84 pounds, with 
                    a Wean Ratio of 112 and a Yearling Ratio of 107.
